Hi, I’m Steve, a Full-Stack Software Engineer with a preferred stack of JavaScript | React | Ruby | Ruby on Rails. Nine years thriving in high pressure, rapidly changing and client focused working environments has equipped me for the continuously advancing field of software development.
I’ve gained my development skills pair-programming on everything from low fidelity wire-frame production, to complex API’s at Microverse; an online remote multicultural software engineering school.
Humbly, I’ve been graced to collaborate with developers from a diversity of skills and cultures.
I’m all for Test Driven Design and currently working on a production Movie database site.
With this awesome movie rating site, you can select your favorite TV movie, like it, make a comment, and keep track of the number of likes. Built with JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
What excites me is discovering the best that an individual can offer to tech development. Combining this with a love for tech gives me incredible fulfillment.
As lead of a multi-national support group of remote developers and engineers, I daily apply insights I’ve gained to overcoming difficulties and demands in the tech industry. Transitioning from teaching English as a Second Language to adults and young kids for 4 years, I carry over to software engineering my skills to lead groups of people and respectfully communicate well articulated ideas to a diverse group of persons. My latest project, a self-study app to improve overall code language learning, was born from such insights.
